This was taken two weeks ago at the Texas State Park, in Tyler. I must have taken better than 130 different shots that day, but when the theme came up, this is what I chose. Sunlight broken through trees. The glare that sparkles back at us when we peek back. As always, I used my Canon Power Shot A540 ... tis dusty, but always trusty.

This will also be my last PP Friday. I have other commitments that require my time in this, my real life breathing space. Perhaps once Summer and Fall elapses once again, I will return, but I have a schedule coming up that requires a great deal of attention. It has been fun, enjoyable ... and for those of you I've become friends with ... well, that won't change.

There are two photo's this time just to show the slight alterations I did with my Printmaster Platinum graphics program. First one is the original which I took with my dusty trusty Canon A540 PowerShot. This photo was taken in late May of 2006 in some of the underbrush surrounding some of the rocks at the Garden of the Gods, in Colorado Springs,CO. 

This  is with the slight changes: reduced the brightness and contrast 20% ... Sharpened it 30% and then deepened the gamma by 40%. I was going to crop this but decided against it as with the three array of colors surrounding the fawn just seemed to be perfect,
